Over several years and environments, SCORPION and H&P collaborated on some amazing exhibits. From High End Locker Rooms living into the “Playbook Marketing Strategy” or a Luxury Tequila Bar Cantina, SCORPION always met H&P with the most fun themes and ideas to collaborate on.

SCORPION

SCORPION has several verticals, from Franchise and Legal to Home Services, H&P would help create captivating brand environments for their events. Typically, SCORPION would come to H&P with a theme, share their vision for the event, and that would serve as the spark for H&P to bring their ideas to life.

Challenge

Unlike many projects where we work within the boundaries of a client’s website or strict brand guidelines, SCORPION offered a different experience. Each event had a unique theme, vision, and mission tailored to diverse audiences, requiring custom designs for every show. This collaboration fostered a deeper partnership, allowing H&P to truly function as an extension of SCORPION’s marketing team.

 

Solutions

High-End Locker Room: This was the first project SCORPION collaborated on with H&P. In our initial discussions, they referenced high-end locker rooms, like those of NFL teams or collegiate football stadiums. The show they were exhibiting at had a “Get in the Game” theme, and their vision was to create a “Marketing Playbook” for attendees—detailing strategies to enhance franchise marketing and grow their businesses. We brought this concept to life by designing the space with
lockers featuring custom branded jerseys and displaying the marketing playbooks for easy distribution. At the center of the environment was a jumbo screen with TVs on all four sides, reminiscent of a sports arena. The back portion of the exhibit housed the first-ever “SCORPION Store,” offering branded swag like hats, Nerf footballs, and mini helmets. This experience made SCORPION the talk of the show, leaving a lasting impression on attendees and giving significance to their brand presence.

 

10×40 Legal: SCORPION’s Legal division required a distinct aesthetic compared to their Home Services or Franchise verticals. When exhibiting for their Legal side, the audience consisted of highly professional lawyers, so the 10×40 exhibit needed to immediately convey professionalism, innovation, and trust. H&P designed a custom 10×40 environment that elevated SCORPION’s presence far beyond what a rental could offer. By incorporating unique materials and textures, we crafted a space that captured the essence of SCORPION’s brand within the 400 square feet, delivering a polished, professional impression that resonated with their legal clientele time and time again.

 

Cantina Tequila Bar: When the SCORPION team approached us with the idea of creating a high-end tequila bar, we were thrilled. It sounded like an incredible vision, and our design team immediately jumped into action, even visiting a top-tier tequila bar in downtown Boston for inspiration. Our first design presentation had a lot of excitement, but after a round of mood boards, SCORPION redirected us toward a more authentic Mexican cantina style, focusing on symmetry and traditional elements over the upscale concept.

On our second presentation, it was a definite success! SCORPION loved the direction and moved forward with this design with minor tweaks. What truly made the design stand out were the intricate details – from colorful glass bottles and mismatched stools scattered throughout the space, to custom graphic-treated tile along the bar and tabletops, and carefully placed sconces lining the walls. This 20×40 exhibit was transformed into the Mexican cantina of our dreams!

Results

In almost every exhibit we designed for SCORPION, it ended up winning some type of award – this ranged from the PMA’s (Portable Modular Awards) to a Creative Hermes Award, and for EXHIBITOR LIVE, the Zeigler award, because of the experience SCORPION’s vision created for their attendees.
