eBay has a ton of different verticals across their company. From Sports Collectibles to eBay Motors, H&P was able to create branded environments across all of eBay’s shows throughout the years.

Brand Consistency

Being a brand that is recognizable around the world, the eBay brand was easy to transfer across industries. H&P took eBay and highlighted different verticals, such as Sports Collectibles, Music Industries, Toy Collectibles, Comic Con, eBay Motors, and created spaces for their team to interact with their clients.

Challenge

Focus on eBay’s brand, but still attend to each individual industry and how their clients interact with that specific vertical of their brand. With each vertical having a different group, style and point of contact, H&P treated each project as a “new opportunity” to learn about each of their unique creative ideas, and functionality for the different sides of eBay.

 

Solutions

At NAMM – H&P propped the space with lounge furniture and key pieces of furniture that you might see in a music store. Guitars on stands, framed on the walls, really led itself to celebrating these
items and making them look like pieces of art.

Collectibles – There was a few different avenues within the collectibles vertical, we worked with their sports memorabilia side, created an event with FUNKO Pop collectibles, created a custom graphic style for GenCon that related to their attendees.

eBay Motors – captivated the attendee by adding details of motor vehicle parts to the designs.

Results

H&P effectively highlighted eBay’s diverse brand identity while catering to each vertical’s unique needs. By creating immersive environments at events like NAMM and GenCon—such as a music-themed lounge with thoughtful props and tailored experiences for collectibles—H&P engaged attendees and fostered meaningful connections. The incorporation of motor vehicle design in the eBay Motors area also captured the attention of auto enthusiasts. Overall, H&P reinforced eBay’s status as a versatile leader across multiple industries.
