Beer Garden? Say Less.

Scorpion welcomed its clients with free beer, Scorpion Swag, and a chance to win a new Ram truck at the ServiceWorld Expo in Las Vegas.

Scorpion

@ ServiceWorld

The place for all home service providers, ServiceWorld Expo brings together residential contractors to discover cutting-edge products and services. Scorpion is the company that helps home service owners turn their ‘mom-and-pop’ business into a franchise. Scorpion wanted to create a welcoming environment for new and existing clients to ‘Experience Scorpion’ at ServiceWorld and see how Scorpion can help grow their businesses.

Challenge

Design a show-stopping environment that can be seen from anywhere in the show hall because of its massiveness, ‘own the show,’ and capture attendees’ attention. Scorpion wanted their space to be a welcoming, immersive ‘Industrial Beer Garden’ themed environment that resonated with the show attendees, who were owners of home service companies, such as plumbers and electricians, in hopes that it would encourage them to visit their exhibit and start a conversation with Scorpion.

Solutions

To accomplish Scorpion’s vision, they utilized the branded environment to create the typical ‘Scorpion Experience,’ which consisted of handing out premium ‘Scorpion swag,’ serving craft beer in custom glasses to enjoy in the ‘Scorpion Beer Garden,’ encouraging attendees to post on social media for the truck giveaway, and, most importantly, representing their brand and connecting with their clients.

Architecture

Not only did the use of shipping containers make a significant impact on the show floor, but it also created the ‘beer garden’ environment and helped immerse attendees in Scorpion’s brand. The ‘BEER’ sign helped entice attendees into their space and encouraged them to network with others in the home services industry.

Results

Scorpion’s ‘Home Services’ division made a strong impression at Service World Now in Las Vegas with its ‘Industrial Beer Garden’ themed space. The use of shipping containers and engaging elements like premium swag, craft beer, and a truck giveaway created an immersive environment that attracted attendees and facilitated networking. The standout design, highlighted by an eye-catching ‘BEER’ sign, effectively drew in prospective clients and strengthened Scorpion’s brand presence.

The people behind the project

“This was one of the most exciting and fun projects I’ve ever worked on! I learned so much along the way, from how shipping containers fit together to how we managed to get them set up in a ballroom. From start to finish, it was such a rewarding experience and ended up being a huge success, even winning multiple awards!” – Kristi Rosnow, Sr. Environment Designer
