Challenge

Sophos wanted to balance soft, organic shapes, and prominent lighting in the architecture while also ensuring the space functioned effectively, especially around the high-traffic t-shirt activation that historically drew large crowds. At the same time, they wanted to eliminate “dead zones,” improve demo engagement, and create a clearer sense of entry that felt like visitors were stepping into the “Sophos world,” all without making the booth feel cluttered or closed off.

 

Solutions

The design incorporated architectural arches and sweeping curved forms to naturally guide attendee flow and visually frame key experiences. Lighting was seamlessly integrated into structural elements, including LED AV and lit extrusions in the overhead, RGB lighting that washed color onto the interior walls, face-lit cabinetry, and illuminated signage. The t-shirt activation was strategically positioned as a focal attraction, with adjacent engagement points like LED backlit touchscreen demos and a presentation area placed nearby to capture audiences while they waited at the pickup station, highlighted by a custom LED shield. This approach aimed to create a space that felt open, dynamic, and highly functional, while also reinforcing Sophos’s modern, energetic brand presence.
